Hi,

Well, it's been a while but just had to mention how totally blessed i feel recently.  even though i'm on night duty, sleeping all day, awake all night and walking round in a kind of perma-daze on my days off!

I've had an overwhelming week really, I was blessed by my family with a bike - i've been out on it pretty much every day since.  Sarah said she was getting a bike for herself last week - and I got out of bed mid afternoon to wooo and aaahhh in wonderment at hers, I then walked into the lounge and was presented with one with a bow on it for ME!!!  they even got me a cycle helmet.  I couldn't beleive it, I was sooooooo chuffed - so I praise God for that!

I wasn't around at Kings on Sunday because I spent all day at my parents church - Eric Delve was the guest speaker there.  I queued for around 2 hours for prayer from him - it was well worth the wait, he spoke a phrophecy over my life it was really amazing.  I felt,when I came away that i'd had a hoooooge hug from Jesus it was great.  I often wonder how the Lord is going to use me and often wonder what gifting I have to use - this sunday just showed my that God will use what I already have - and it made me really happy.

I was blessed again on the same day, I had been having some back trouble - I tell you nurses and their backs!! mines a reccurant problem - pain in the left side of my lower back, I couldn't get out of bed last week with it, anyway,  after i'd been prayed over on sunday I went to my aunt (jean)and her husband (aandrew) who were also in the church, they layed hands on me and my back, Andrew said he felt real heat in his hands, I thought great! but I still felt the pain, five minutes after I was walking down the road on the way home and felt a raging heat on the left lower part of my back, the other side was cold!! people could even feel it through my clothes!!!  and my back has been fine since...yey!!  Thank you Lord. 

Around the time I last posted I was feeling a bit down but not anymore!!!  After some chatting with a friend re: the work thing - it was pointed out to me that this was quite good witness  as it shows that i'm set apart from the non christians (everyone) there and it prompted people to ask questions re: my faith. so I praise God for that!

I've also got a start date for my new Intensive care unit job - 13th June.

Well, I had an interesting couple of days.....

I had a meeting with Graham today to help out with some of the admin for the  Kenya project....how daunted was I when I found out what needed to be done, but hey, if the Lord wants me to do it i'm sure he'll provide me with the know how eh?

Yesterday my mate called me and invited me to do the Great North run in aid of menningitis....I said yes, only thing is it's 13k...Wht have  done!!!!????!!! he's ok, he does this sort of stuff all the time! reckons i'll be ok though, it isn't till september so plenty of time to do training stuff, started in the gym tonight, didn't get very far on the runner though. prob about 3k. alot to do then eh?

Sunday was excellent as per usual, ID was good, yet again i binned some personal rubbish, knew I had to.  I was walking round telling everyone how released I ws from a particular issue after the last time we did a similar thing in ID, and alas feel as though i've been confornted with the same issue again and i've not handled it very well! and felt totally miserable for the past week, so now it has definately been binned and I would like to say I feel great but  i feel naff! another thing adding to that last week was a couple of my close work colleagues bought me a really inappropriate gift from a really in appropriate shop(ann summers) for my birthday knowing that i'm a christian! i wont go into details but lets just say, i took it back, but it wasn't so much the offending object more like the lack of ...acceptance for my being a christian!   I was gutted

did the Barnabus thing on Monday was able to pray for a couple of the ladies in the red light district. One of the ladies i prayed for was 6 weeks pregnant and the other was 7 and a half months pregnant and both still working.  Got invited to go to a conference re: christians working with ladies  in prstitution....looking forward to that,  I got a lot to learn.

Hey Guys,

Today is a very good day!! I'm on a day off after 3 long days and I have no guilty feelings that I should be writing an assignment coz i've finished the course I was doing and the assignment...yey!.  It actually took me all of 2 days to write in the end but I let it hang over my head for about 4 months....why do I do that?????? Got it in last minute after stressing....some over the internet prayer and God's intervention

Out with my dad in about an hour we're off to get my mums birthday prez.  Some friends from work coming round later for dinner and halo, I have absolutely no idea what to cook but i'm sure inspiration will come to me as i'm doing some random thing as per.  mmm...think it'll involve chocolate.  Had some of Ellies chocolate orange cake last night, how absolutely fantasticly gorgeous is that!

Well it's been a long time! just catching up with all your blogs - love you all xx

Had an amazing hol, now am top snowboarding dude!  i can say that coz none of y'all saw me do it ha ha! God is amazing, weather was great, scenary beautiful, met some lovely people too, heard some fantastic testimonies.

sarah managed to give us a few laughs, she was on the nursary slope doing her thing on the second day, got to the top of the tow rope thing, started to fall over at the top, went to grab a separate rope which happend to be the plug, which of course she pulled out cutting off the electricity and ending up flat on her back in about 2 foot of snow, snowboard and plug in the air, leaving a load of biwildered/stranded learners abandoned on the rope!!  (and that's just one of the stories she graced us with)  it was hillarious, I did nothing quite as ridiculous of course!  no serious injuries, but some cracking bruises between us, I hurt my thumb on a red run and did some damage to my knee in a snowball fight with an 8, 10,11 and 13 year old (boys), I gave as good as i got! but note to self...remember your age, remember your age, remember your age!!!  anyhoo do these youngsters have no respect for there elders???

oh almost forgot...thanks for all of your prayers I got the job in intensive care i went for yey!! and my dads back home from hospital feeling well.... thanks again xx

Hey Guys, Seriously, the more the merrier with the Austria thing!!

Well today I had a meeting with Andrew and Ian became an official bonefide member of Kings church yey!!

And of course the Kings church interview went much better than the work one...that felt awful, I did mention that I was bobbins at them didn't I? Wont find out til Monday, but hey...if it's Gods will it'll be fine, if it's not i'll stay put, after all 'His plans are to prosper and not to harm'.

Just watching red nose day - It manages to make me laugh and cry and laugh til I cry every time!!
